Rev. Fr. Christopher Odia, the parish priest of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in the Etsako West Local Government of Edo State, who was kidnapped this morning, June 26, has been found dead.

The gunmen broke into Odia’s home this morning as he was getting ready for Mass and took him to an unidentified location.

The body of the kidnapped priest has been discovered, according to a statement issued by the Catholic Diocese of Auchi this evening.
