Reactions have trailed the fuel queues that have surfaced in parts of Lagos State, the country’s commercial capital.
Naijaloaded reports the fuel scarcity started last week but worsened over the weekend, leaving passengers stranded and forcing motorists to spend long hours at filling stations.
It was gathered that the fuel scarcity was due to the supply disruption to Independent marketers in Lagos and other states across the country.
On Monday morning, our reporter observed that many motorists queued up to buy fuel in some filling stations in the Alimosho area while many filling stations along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway are not selling fuel.
Many filling stations in the state have run out of stock while the few other stations selling have long queues. The fuel scarcity has further worsened the traffic gridlock in some parts of the state following long queues at the filling stations.

Reacting to the development, some Lagosians took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to express their frustration regarding the fuel scarcity in the state.
